Staff
Our pre-school team is made up of professional, qualified and enthusiastic staff who all strive to make your and your child’s experience of early years a very positive one. All our staff are very friendly, warm and approachable. Three of our staff hold sector relevant degrees and the rest of the staff team have recognised childcare qualifications. All staff have undertaken Child Protection training, DBS checks and are qualified in paediatric first aid.
About Us
Beverly Holroyd Manager and DSL
Bev has worked at pre-school for many years. She joined the group as a volunteer when her youngest daughter attended in the mid 1990s realising she enjoyed working with children she enrolled at college and qualified as a nursery nurse soon after. Since then she has studied further and gained a degree in Early Years Education.
Vicki Calvert Deputy Manager
Vicki is another member of staff who has worked at pre-school for a number of years, she studied at Thomas Danby college and gained her NNEB qualification, like all practitioners Vicki continues to undertake training to enhance her role and understanding of children's learning.
Jo Keedy Assistant Manager & Assistant DSL
Joanne has worked in early years since leaving school, she enrolled at college and studied for NNEB, after qualifying she started to working the NHS before joining us.
Alex Temple SENCo
The pre-school is committed to ensuring that all children to reach their potential and as such we have a designated SENCo who works closely with other professionals to support children with additional needs, delivering a learning experience that meets their needs.
